Sven and Ole's Pizza One of
the best things about Grand Marais is the delicious Pizza
at Sven and Ole's pizza in downtown Grand Marais.
With Nachos Sandwiches and of course Pizza, my favorite
is the cheese pizza you can get for about $13.95,and you
get a lot of it cheese on it. I can only eat
about 3 slices. A pizza at Swen and Ole's is well
worth your purchase. Please tell Sven you found on my

sister if thats what you're thinking,It's the name of the
restaurant, And it has the best burgers in the world and
I'm not kidding! The best burger they have is the Trail
Center Bull Moose my favorite,I tried to make one
like it just a couple of minutes ago. It was good
but not as good as theirs! I highly recommend this

Grand Marais is Worlds Best Dounuts, they arn't kidding
when they say ''Worlds Best''! By far my favorite
doughnut is the maple flavored long john which is
delicous. Another great doughnut is the glazed twist.They
are only open in the summer so if you are ever in Grand
Marais in the summer make sure you visit this doughnut

Fishing Trips in Grand Marais

Come fish
the famous Saganaga Lake at the end of the Gunflint Trail
in northeastern Minnesota. Saganaga Lake, called "Sag
Lake" by us locals, is surrounded by the Boundary
Waters Canoe Area and the Quetico Provincial Park -
Ontario, Canada. A limited number of permits only allow a
small amount of anglers to experience this fishing
paradise.
Our four
Coast Guard licensed fishing guides were responsible for
boating and releasing over 200 trophy-sized walleyes
ranging from 28" to 33" in length during the
2001 season. Families, businesses and buddies can enjoy
the beautiful scenery while sampling the trophy walleye
fishing on Minnesota's Sag Lake or Ontario's Northern
Light Lake
A two hour
drive from Duluth, Minnesota along the scenic North Shore
Drive will lead you to the Gunflint Trail, a two lane
paved road, which starts in Grand Marais, Minnesota and
ends at the world's best walleye lakes.

experience the outdoors!
The forest
is still losing it*s summer foliage. Days can be sunny
and warm while evenings brisk enough to warrant breaking
in some of your favorite sweaters before winter begins.
It*s a great time for canoeing, hiking and exploring. The
days are usually sunny but still cool enough to keep you
from working up a sweat and there are No bugs!
With the unveiling
of the forest the wildlife is easier to spot. The
Superior National Forest surrounds us and offers great
Ruffed and Spruce Grouse hunting. Sharpshooters my wish
to polish their skills with early morning or mid-day
Woodcock hunts. Perhaps you*ll catch a glimpse of a
Whitetail Buck or Doe, or walk by a pond with a busy
Beaver.
