The Little Grill Collective is located at 621 North Main St., Harrisonburg, VA., only minutes from both downtown Harrisonburg, James Madison University, and Eastern Mennonite University. The Little Grill has been a restaurant since the 30’s and worker-owned since June of 2003. They offer both vegetarian/vegan and meat-based fares. We are open Tues-Fri 7am-2pm and 5pm-9pm, Sat. 7am-9pm, and Sun. 9am-2pm. ***Every week, a variety of talented artisans, including musicians, poets, actors, and more share there talent at the Little Grill Collective, so be sure to check out our calendar to see what is coming up. Photos inside The Little Grill The Soup Kitchen Every Monday The Little Grill Collective closes for regular business and hosts the Free Food For All Soup Kitchen, which serves a free Noon meal to Anyone in the World. The underlying idea is that of a cooperative community meal, rather than a charitable meal. The meal is served family style to anyone regardless of anything, with no strings attached. Anyone is also welcome to help prepare the meal, serve, or clean up. No one gets paid and everyone who comes is encouraged to eat together. The cooking begins around 10am, the meal is served at Noon, and clean up lasts until about 2pm. Come whenever you want, and leave whenever you want. All are welcome.
